    Lucas Oil Stadium is a multi-purpose sports stadium in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. It is the home field of the NML's Indianapolis Colts. The stadium was built to accommodate for the expansion of the Indiana Convention Center. The stadium features a retractable roof and window wall, thus allowing the Colts to play both indoors and outdoors. The surface is Field Turf, the elements of kinetic architecture will provide for quick conversion of the facility to accommodate a variety of events. The retro look to the new stadium s a result of Indianpolis's liking toward the historic field house. Seating capacity for the Power Bowl is expected to be 70,000, up from 63,000 for regular season games!

Football 101

Join GM Owner Jon Vantrease for Football basics. Mr. Vantrease will be teaching football basics such as QB - Know when to go down, QB - Rolling out of the pocket and a fan favorite, FG Kicking for dummies.

 

   DAYS OF NEW - American Alternative Rock band originally hailing from Charlestown, IN will be head lining the Half-Time show at Power Bowl IX. With hits "Touch, Peel and Stand" and "The Down Town" Power Bowl IX Guests are in for a treat. Front Man Travis Meeks cutting edge style and down south demeanor will thrill and entertain new and old alike.

Indianapolis Colts Owner Stephen Long and Commissioner Brandon Fisher have teamed up with the Wounded Warriors Project and will host a panel discussion by soldiers wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan and covered topics including dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), recovering from traumatic brain injuries and the loss of limbs, and the role sports plays in the recovery process.

 
 
 

Bret Baier of Fox News Channel serving as the host, and Commissioner Brandon Fisher will stream a live one-hour special live from Lucas Oil Field on the American Forces network and simulcast on ESBN2 just prior to the Power Bowl.

During the Half-Time show members of the armed forces will take a lap around the field in honor of their fallen comrades.
         
         
Power Bowl
