When I looked at this game in the pre-season, I expected one of the teams to be undefeated…. Just not the Rams! I still don’t believe that they are true contenders for the Power Bowl but there has been a lot for Rams fans to cheer about so far. The Pack have one of the best rosters in the NML. The recent trades for Hassleback and Ray Rice will hopefully help them get back on track.
STL - SS Glover Quin Jr. (herniated disk) 8 wks
MLB David Hawthorne (broken hand) 5 wks

GB - CB Cedric Griffin (abdominal tear) 6 wks
I can’t believe I’m saying this but the Rams will prove to be too much against the struggling Packers and actually beat them going away. I predict a final score of Rams 42, Packers 17.
HOU - none

BAL - none
This may be the win that jumpstarts the Texans. I believe they walk away 28-7 after a big day by Eli.
The Dolphins are still looking to put a 1 in the win column and prior to last week I was thinking this could be the week. In thinking about it I can’t really even tell you who I think the key to victory for Miami is as I can’t even remember who’s on this team. That should tell you all you need to know about them. For the Jets, Michael Vick and the newly acquired Hakeem Nicks and Arian Foster will be the keys.
MIA - none

NYJ - CB Nolan Carroll (abdominal tear) 6 wks
I see the Jets winning this one in blowout fashion. 31-3 with a huge game by Mike Vick.
Coming into this game we know ONE thing: the Pats will only run the ball on the goal line. In my opinion, it’s a must win for the defending Power Bowl Champ Cowboys as they have gotten off to a slow start. Lucky for them they are in a weak division so there is still plenty of hope for a repeat in Big D. Peyton Manning will throw the ball 50+ times and is the key for NE. For Dallas, I see Romo to Austin over and over and over.
DAL - OLB Akeem Jordan (fractured foot) 7 wks

NE - WR Jeremy Maclin (abdominal tear) 4 wks
MLB Curtis Lofton (broken hand) 5 wks
The Cowboys will force more turnovers which will in turn lead them to a close victory. 38-31 Cowboys.
I had written this preview 2 weeks ago and then realized I had to scrap the whole thing after the Vikings completely overhauled their roster after getting demolished by the Lions. The Bears are coming off of a huge loss to the Lions in which they allowed 316 yards rushing to Adrian Peterson. On a positive note, they had a decent game rushing out of Marion Barber against Detroit.
MIN - none

CHI - none
Unfortunately for Da Bears, they will take one step closer to Andrew Luck as I think Mendenhall and Big Ben have huge games and squeak out a victory 45-10.
The Saints are coming off of their 1st loss this season in the NML. Dating back to last year it snaps about a 13 game win streak. I’m curious to see how they respond. LeSean McCoy will need to get going again in order for the Saints to get back to their winning ways. Tampa Bay is a young team and will have to limit mistakes if they want a shot at a win. I think that they are one of the best at schemes and game planning.
NO - OLB Clint Ingram (herniated disk) 2 wks

TB - none
In my upset special, I pick the Bucs over the Saints 35-28 as I believe they will win the turnover battle and give the Saints another tough division loss.
