Browns

The Cleveland Browns are upset and disappointed with the outcome of the season, but remain positive about the team. At the post season press conference, coach Russ Grimm stated, " We are a young team who statistically rated in the middle of the NML. We certainly over produced for the talent we had, especially down the stretch. We went 4-4 under new management and lost 2 of those games to division rivals by a combined 5 points. Both those teams are in the playoffs as well as the Bills who we beat. Our division is very tough, but we are confident about the future."

The Browns started the season 1-7 before being bought by Matt Montroy and hired head Coach Russ Grimm. The Browns faced their toughest competition down the stretch with 5 out of 8 games against playoff teams. Due to their success the interim tag was removed from Russ Grimm's name and he

is now the head coach for the 2011 season. Russ Grimm played college ball at the University of Pittsburgh as an offensive lineman.

For now the Browns are content with the team they have, but they must address a few key issues. One such issue was the violent out burst of QB Vince Young who was unhappy with the amount of running the team was doing under Russ Grim. Steve Breaston, a new addition also spoke up against the coach. Both could be on the their way out of Cleveland. Russ Grimm is an old school coach who wont stand for negative attitudes. Grimm has also shown a skill for drafting and is willing to trade down if he doesn't see the potential at his current spot.

It is uncertain at this time if the Browns will trade picks, but they do have an extra 3rd round from the Colts through the Seahawks. With the low quality of this years draft Grimm might be willing to negoiate.
