Owner: Ethan Davis
Coach: Ken Whisenhunt
1/13/10 Phoenix, AZ - It was announced today that Cardinals' wide receiver Brandon Jones is the 2010 most valuable player. Jones has not only had great numbers this season, he has broken records. But more importantly to Cardinal fans is that he helped them get into the playoffs and knock off the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Jones finished the regular season with 203 catches for 4378 yards and 43 touchdowns.

How High Will the Cards Fly in 2010?
9/4/10 Phoenix, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals were a great surprise for the desert city and all the fans. While they were unable to make it to the Power Bowl, they did make it to the playoffs and knocking out the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles. Since then there have been a few changes around this team that won the FFC West a year ago.
First starting QB Chad Pennington is gone and replacing him is Kevin Kolb (who is above David Garrard on the depth chart). While Pennington is known as an accurate but fragile player, there isn't much known about Kolb or what to expect from him. Owner Ethan Davis has made it clear that Kolb is their quarterback of the future and therefore he needs to step up and be that leader.
Also gone from a year ago is not only the Cardinals MVP, but the NML's MVP, WR Brandon Jones. Jones is now with Tom Brady and the defending world champion Detroit Lions. This move was highly unpopular among the bird watchers.
Even though Jones is gone, don't look for this team to be lacking in an aerial attack. They were able to acquire Calvin Johnson and also draft Notre Dame star Golden Tate. With these two, Kolb will have the targets he needs to succeed.
And let's not forget the defense that the Cardinals bring to the table. Linebackers like #53 Thomas Howard and CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie are All-Star Bowlers who are sure to give Dennis Dixon and his St. Louis Rams offense a hard time in this first week of the season.
2010 is sure to be different from what fans saw and loved about 2009. But different doesn't have to be bad and the Cardinals may just suprise us all again.
