| Good evening fellow NML Owners & Coaches,
This is an official press release from the office of the Green Bay Packer's CEO, Tim Schell. As all of you have seen or heard, there have been quite a few trades between teams in the NML as the trade deadline fast approaches. We have received several inquires into a few of our core players, players we are currently attempting to lock up for years to come. As Coach Tressel has continued to say, we have a great core of veterans, skill players, and rookies on both sides of the ball. With that said, I think we all can agree that not one of our teams is "perfect." This is what I will address in this press release. It is NOT to be decided that we are looking to clear house. Or actively pursuing trades, JUST to trade. A trade has to be beneficial ultimately for both of the teams, whether it be immediate for one and long-term for the other, but all of you very intelligent minds get this and understand it already. Therefore, we will entertain offers and perhaps try and come up with some of our own to offer. If nothing develops and it's more of a cold war attitude, then this Packers Organization is NOT afraid to attack our imperfections at the 2011 NML Draft in April. The core players the Packers will not actively PURSUE in trading AWAY are guys like QB Joe Flacco, RB Frank Gore, WR Santonio Holmes, LT Joe Staley, LG Ben Grubbs, DT Jay Ratliff, and ROLB Chad Greenway. This doesn't mean we WONT trade these core players, as we always will entertain offers. But our front office likes each of these guys for their own specific skill sets, and believe are a great list of players for a solid foundation. Throw in rookies on offense like QB Levi Brown, RB Ben Tate, WR Eric Decker, WR Jordan Shipley, and TE Tony Moeaki. We have some very promising young rookie talent on defense as well with RE Derrick Morgan, MLB Brandon Spikes, and FS Amari Spivey. The list that we have formulated for what we are "looking for" is as follows:
We have depth on the offensive AND defensive lines, therefore some pieces to help facilitate a trade. Please feel free and do not hesitate to contact the Packers front office at 515.778.7483 by text, or by email at tmschell311@yahoo.com Thank you all and best of luck as we get further into this 2010 NML season Tim Schell CEO of THE Green Bay Packers |

Green Bay Post Game Interviews are sponsored by Wisconsin Cheese. Eat Wisconsin Cheese. Joe Flacco, Darren Sharper, and Jim Tressel have a seat in front of their respective microphones and name placards.) Moderator: I'd like to thank you all for coming. Coach Tressel will address the media with a statement first, and then we'll turn it over to your questions. Jim Tressel: Thank you. Well? (sigh of relief, slight laughter amongst media) The facts are we performed very well in all 3 aspects of the game. On offense, Joe led us down the field under the direction of Offensive Coordinator Sterling Sharpe. He took what the defense gave him, he didn't turn the ball over. A couple of times he caught the defense in an all out blitz, and he was able to dump it off to Frank (Gore) in the flat for 2 receiving TDs. Frank was able to get in from the 3 yard line there late in the 3rd quarter on the ground, which gave us a 3 possession lead going into the 4th. On defense, we were able to hold them to a turnover in the end zone there, with the pick by Madieu |

| Williams), on the opening drive. We countered by driving and getting a FG on the board. With the exception of late in the game, we never gave up the big play. We didn't beat ourselves. Then Quentin (Jammer) came up with the big INT return for a TD, which all but sealed it up for us. All around, I'm very pleased with our output so far. We've got a long way to go, and it doesn't get any easier as the weeks go on, but we were a missed 2-pt conversion attempt late in the 4th quarter from taking the defending Power Bowl champion Lions into overtime last week. This is a talented bunch, and we've got the tools to dig out from the 0-2 hole previous management had left us with. Lastly, I want to commend CEO Schell for the respectable start under his tenure. We've got a long way to go, but we've definitely got a great foundation of hard-working team players within this organization. With that said, we will answer a few questions, and then hop back onto the plane to Green Bay, and start preparing for the Dolphins. Nick Mahoney, Green Bay Press Gazette: Joe, if you would, talk to us about the overall performance of the offense tonight. Joe Flacco: We performed very well tonight. I'm happy with the way we were able to mix in the run with Frank, Ben (Tate), and even Pooh Bear (Tony Richardson) saw some touches in the red zone. Zero turnovers in the game, we went 4 for 4 in the red zone. I'm pleased with the way we are working together. The offensive line should also be credited with a great performance as well. As you saw, my jersey stayed white the whole game. Grubbs our left guard is just tremendous. And then you can turn to big Greg Olsen as well, picking up 3 big 3rd down conversions throughout the game. Lance (Moore) had a big game this week, their cornerbacks were able to keep Santonio and Eddie in check most of the game. So the other guys were able to step up and make big plays today. A. Hexum, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Talk about the defense and how huge they were tonight, stepping up big with their backs against the wall on that opening drive. > JF: Absolutely, it really shouldn't be, but the mindset of coming out already down 7-0, you don't want to alter your gameplan, but sometimes you just do. But when your defense is able to sustain a long opening drive, and come away with a big interception IN the end zone, that without a doubt relaxes you as a quarterback. Chad Martinez, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Darren, the defense came up big when it needed to in the red zone. Tell us about the turnovers. Darren Sharper: Like Joey said, that INT inside the end zone by Madieu was big no question. Dwight (Lowery) was able to get to Orton, who did pass the ball well tonight, but Quentin snagging that pick and running it back was great. We were able to get just enough pressure on Orton to not allow the big play down field. Gates was still able to get the ball, but we held him to just one TD. And that itself is a victory. We did just enough to get off the field consistently and get the ball back to Joe and our offense. Tim Sexton, Green Bay Press Gazette: One last thing before we let you guys get out of here and back to Green Bay, about next week and the Dolphins. Darren, what on earth is this "Jim Tressel Sweater Vest Game" all about? Explain. DS: (snickers) Well it's very simple. This next game against the Dolphins, as a token of gratitude to the new CEO and his hire, Coach Tressel, myself and some of the veterans on the team will be purchasing a sweater vest for everyone who is in attendance next week! That's going to be tens of thousands of sweater vests inside Lambeau Field. (media, players, and even Jim Tressel laugh as the guys thank the media and walk off the stage) |
