49ers

11/24/10 San Francisco, CA - Despite the new ownership, the 49er's continued to struggle this week against Tampa Bay. After marching up the field on the first drive and scoring so quickly, there was a lot of excitement in San Francisco. Unfortunately for the fans, that was the high point of the game. Tampa Bay was able to score just as easily on the next drive, and then the 9'ers began to self-destruct. Jay Cutler threw an interception on the next drive and it was all downhill from there.

When asked about the game, new owner Josh Murphy stated "It's my first game, I'm trying to get aquainted with Norv and the team. We'll get things figured out. We got a little frazzled after that first pick and there was no turning back."

When asked what he thought about the new ownership, and whether he thought his job was in jeopardy, Coach Turner told us that his focus was on football.

What this new owner means for the team, if anything, is yet to be seen. They have a tough (and important) match up on their hands against a division rival next week.
