9/4/10 Kansas City, MO - Last season the Chiefs played well at home against the San Diego Chargers. This year the team hopes it can do just the same and DeMarcus Ware can't wait!
"I'm pumped man. I've been looking forward to this Saturday since the end of last season. I'm ready to get to it and bring the Sammy Baugh Trophy back to KC

where it belongs", said Chiefs' linebacker Ware.
In last year's game Ware finished with an interception, a sack and four tackles. Beanie Wells also had a big game, rushing for 117 yards and 2 TDs. One key element to this weekend's game is that Aaron Rodgers will be healthy and starting which should give the team an even bigger boost on offense.
"It's exciting to be starting my first opening season game. I think we've done a lot in training camp up in St. Joseph to really make us a legitimate contender this season. Leaps and bounds above where we were last year", said Rodgers.
There will be one player that is questionable for the game and that's #1 draft pick Sergio Kindle. It's not known whether or not he'll be healthy enough to suit up after an accident at his home in Texas.

11/8/10 Kansas City, MO - The Chiefs are sitting at 5-2 after this past weekend's defeat of the Buffalo Bills. Except for week 1, Aaron Rodgers has been playing lights out and the team as a whole is mixing up as far as play calling is concerned. Against the Bills he threw for 3 TDs including two of which were to star wideout Andre Johnson. The team is still undefeated at Arrowhead. This week they go to Oakland to play the Raiders.
