If the power ranking was about which team played the best with their backups, the Panthers would be #1 but since it's not the Vikings remain the #1 seed and I'm sure the Panthers are licking their lips at a rematch.

The Panthers beat the pesky Bucs and did so with even giving clipboard Jesus some snaps. They have played hard but with Javid Best on the bench for most part you can tell they are resting and trying not to get rusty for the playoffs as they hold the #1 seed and the road to the Power Bowl runs through Carolina. |

The Browns played horrible with nothing to play for in week 16 and finish the season with a meaningless game vs the Steelers. |

The Steelers beat the Rams but once again this game was costly as the Steelers suffered another injury as star HB Ahmad Bradshaw went out in the first series and will be out two weeks. The Steelers defense kept field position short as they stopped the Rams on 5 out of 7 4th down attempts as the Steelers limp into week 17. |

The Saints are marching into week 17 with players most fans don't know but they don't care and they just want to win and cause havok in the playoffs. |

The Eagles missed a chance to help secure their playoff spot by losing to the Cowboys which is always a heated game when you see their history and lack of respect for each other. This is going to be great rivalry for the next few years as long as both owners keep at it. |

The Lions lost a heartbreaker to the Chargers who are looking to solidify their #2 seed. Tom Brady was visably shaken and upset at the refs for failing to call Calvin Johnson inbounds on what could have been a game winning touchdown that possibly could have saved the season |

When the Bucs and Panthers play you know that points will be fluent and in the end the Bucs will just miss the upset. Same result in week 16 and now the Bucs move on in hopes of finishing strong vs the Falcons.

The Jets needs to run their 2 minute offense all game as they tried to make a furious comeback vs the Giants by scoring an impressive 21 points in under a minute but in the end came up short. |

The Bombers also known as Broncos lost to another up but mostly down franchise this week (Bills). The Broncos will play a final game but with their season over I expect many internal meetings to discuss their off season plans. Seems this squad is missing the LB core it shipped off to IND for peanuts. |
